The Hatchet is designed for the beginner player who wants to move to intermediate and needs a more stable disc to develop higher arm speed. It fits comfortably in the hand with a good tactile feel and holds whatever angle it is put on quite well. It is able to be turned over but will fade a bit at the end of its flight. This disc is exceptionally reliable and for higher arm speeds will flip up.
For players of all levels, the Hatchet is a great fairway control driver, because its turn and dome means that it can glide forever, and its slight fade makes it come back just enough. Power players will find this a great tailwind driver.
VIP Ice Orbit Plastic: A stiffer semi-transparent premium plastic with vibrant colour and a high durability. Many players prefer VIP for throwing versus a base plastic. Orbit adds a swirly rim in a contrasting colour.
