The Max Disctance XF20 Generation 2 is made with a thick layer of carbon fiber (0.5 mm), as well as the traditional woven carbon fiber on the outer layer, greatly increasing the strength of the pole, making it THE most durable retriever on the market. The greatest feature of the XF is every part of this retriever is replaceable. If you manage to break any section of this retriever Max Disctance offers replacement parts for a reasonable price, making this the last telescoping retriever you will ever have to buy.

The suction retriever works best with a bit of moisture. If it's not grabbing, we recommend pouring some water on it before trying to stick it to the disc.

  • 20 feet long
  • Light weight carbon fiber
  • Fully repairable with parts available to purchase directly from Max Disctance
  • High quality suction ball end

XF vs CF Retrievers

The new XF series carbon fiber retrievers are made with stronger carbon fiber (30T). They also have a woven (4k Twill) carbon fiber outer layer to increase strength and durability. This also helps prevent deamination issues experienced in the CF models. With switching over to a new manufacturer, I've learned that the molds used for the CF poles were not properly tapered from end to end. That is what led to the sections becoming stuck together without there being any debris inside the pole. The XF series extends and retracts much more smoothly than the CF models. And last is the aluminum threads on the base of the pole to keep the sections secured instead of the CF plastic threads.

How to tell the difference between XF & CF

The XF series has a visible woven carbon fiber look on every section. The threads on the bottom of the retriever are narrower and are made with aluminum instead of 3D printer plastic. The outer shell is completely smooth on the XF, and the CF has a 'ribbed' like texture to its outer shell.

I am also in the process of adding labels to every pole to have each model labeled on them.
